On our regenerative farm, every animal has a purpose, not just in producing food, but in restoring the land and supporting the environment.
🐄 Our cows are rotationally grazed, meaning they’re moved regularly across different pastures. This gives the grass time to recover, improves soil structure and adds natural fertilizer to the ground. Their hooves help aerate the soil too, encouraging water absorption and plant growth.
🐖 Our pigs are expert tillers! They root and dig through the soil, turning it over and mixing in organic matter. This helps break down old plant material and prepare the ground for new growth.
🐓 These little workers help to break down manure, eat pests and fertilize the soil as they go. Their scratching spreads nutrients and helps balance the ecosystem in our pastures.
🌱 By working with our animals, instead of against nature, we’re building healthier soil and improving biodiversity.
